Valentin Kreilinger, Research Fellow Politics and Institutions at Notre Europe – Jacques Delors Institute, participates in the Expert Roundtable on the Spinelli Group’s Fundamental Law of the EU, organised by the Bertelsmann Stiftung in Brussels on 24 January 2014.

The Spinelli Group of MEPs has written a new draft treaty of the European Union, published by Bertelsmann Stiftung. ‘A Fundamental Law of the European Union” is a major contribution to the debate on the future of Europe.

 

Think-tank researchers from all over Europe will discuss the proposals in three sessions:

– The Fundamental Law of the EU: Key Proposals for an EU Treaty Reform, introduced by Andrew Duff, MEP

– Completing EMU: An Economic Government for the Eurozone, introduced by Roberto Gualtieri, MEP

– The Politics of Treaty Change: Perspectives of a Reform of the Lisbon Treaty, introduced by Andrew Duff, MEP
