While the world economic and trade system is growingly put under strain and trade tensions are increasing between the United States, China and the European Union, the Hauts-de-Seine branch of République en Marche has invited decision-makers to share their thoughts on these issues and on the capacity of the EU to emerge as a world economic leader. This debate gathers together :
- Pascal Lamy, President emeritus of the Jacques Delors Institute, former Director-General of the World Trade Organisation and former European Trade Commissionner.
- Christine Hennion, Member of the French National Assembly, sitting at the European affairs and the Economic affairs commissions.
- Jacques Maire, Member of the French National Assembly, Vice-president of the Foreign affairs commission
