The Jacques Delors Institute is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its creation under the name “Notre Europe“. The Institute is using this opportunity to debate its analyses and propositions aimed at European decision-makers as well as a wider public, so as to help mold the Europe of both today and tomorrow.
It is in this perspective that the French President François Hollande has accepted to speak at a Gala Dinner organised by the Institute on October 6 about France’s European vision during a turning point in the history of the European construction.
EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and French Prime Minister Manuel Valls will hold a debate on Friday, 7 October during a public conference about the political future of the EU, organised at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers which will be broadcast live on our websites and social networks.
Our 2016 European Steering Committee will meet on the afternoon of Friday, 7 October to debate on “The European Union after the British Referendum”, with two round-tables on European identity in globalisation as well as on the collective security of Europeans, before adopting a common declaration published in the European media.
