Gaëlle Marti is a Professor of Public Law at Lyon 3 University, where since 2020 she has directed the Centre for European Studies and the Master’s program in European Human Rights Law. A specialist in European affairs in general and European Union institutions in particular, she has held a Jean Monnet Chair on the “promotion and preservation of EU values” since 2022.
In 2023, she published Les grandes notions du droit de l’Union européenne with the Presses Universitaires de France. She is also one of the 12 members of the Franco-German expert group on EU reform and, in this capacity, co-authored the report “Navigating High Seas: Reforming and Expanding the EU for the 21st Century”, presented in September 2023 to the Council of the European Union’s General Affairs Council.
