Jérôme Vignon is an advisor at the Jacques Delors Institute and a specialist in social and European policies. He is a graduate of École Polytechnique and ENSAE.
He worked in French public services related to planning before joining Jacques Delors’ cabinet in 1981, then creating and directing the European Commission’s Forward Studies Unit. He then held several positions at the European Commission, including Director of Social Protection and Integration.
Since 2011, he has chaired the National Observatory on Poverty and Social Exclusion (ONPES) and has led government missions on migration management. He is also a member of the board of directors of social organizations such as the Habitat and Humanism Foundation.
