Matthias Fekl

Matthias Fekl is a former Minister of the Interior, former Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, and former Member of the French National Assembly. A long-time advocate for humanist and European values, he is now a Paris Bar lawyer (alternative dispute resolution, international investments, public law) and founding partner of the law firm Audit – Duprey – Fekl as well as the international mediation platform Equanim.

He is also a board member of the French Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC France) and Paris Place de droit, and writes a biweekly column “Paris-Berlin” for L’Opinion.

A former student of the École Normale Supérieure – Humanities and Social Sciences and the ENA, he holds a degree from Sciences Po, where he taught public law.
