Nils Redeker

Acting Co-Director, Jacques Delors Centre

Dr Nils Redeker is Acting Co-Director of the Jacques Delors Centre and leads the centre’s work on European economic policy. His research focuses primarily on European fiscal and economic policy, reforms of EU economic governance, and Germany’s role within the European Union.

Before joining the think tank community, he taught political economy at the University of Zurich and was a Visiting Fellow at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University. He also worked as an external consultant for former German President Horst Köhler.

Nils Redeker studied political science and economics at the Free University of Berlin and the London School of Economics, and earned a PhD at the University of Zurich on economic imbalances in the euro area.
