Thorniké Gordadzé

Associated researcher, Eastern Neighbours and the Black Sea

Thorniké Gordadze is a French-Georgian academic and researcher. From 2010 to 2012, he was Minister of State for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of the Republic of Georgia and chief negotiator for the Association Agreement and DCFTA with the EU.

From 2014 to 2020, he headed the Research and Studies Department at the Institute for Higher National Defense Studies (IHEDN) in Paris and was a Senior Fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS, 2021-2022).

He currently teaches at the Paris Institute of Political Studies (SciencesPo) and is Program Officer for the Eastern Neighborhood and the Black Sea at the Jacques Delors Institute. Thorniké Gordadze holds a PhD in Political Science (2005) from SciencesPo.
