Brussels, 22 November 2011 – The Common Strategic Framework: adding value to rural development?



Conference co-organised by Notre Europe with Europuls.ro with the participation of European Commissioner Dacian CIOLOS and the Director General Dirk AHNER ; Nadège CHAMBON (Notre Europe), Britta REIMERS (MEP-ALDE), Alin MITUTA (President, Europuls) and Stefanos LOUKOPOULOS (ELARD)

In view of ensuring more coherence between the EU Funds, the European Commission launched a proposal for a Common Strategic Framework in order to maximize the use of the Structural Funds, the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF).

The aim of the conference is to contribute to the debate on the dynamic coordination between the objectives of the Common Agricultural Policy and Cohesion Policy with a special focus on the impact of the new Strategic Framework on rural development.
