Geneviève Pons, director of the Jacques Delors Institute's Brussels office, intervene at the Women Rule Summit, organised by Politico. She will intervene on the following topic : "Climate change: How does the presence of women in the energy industry affect global warming?"

Politico is presenting the second edition of the Women Rule Summit in 2019. With the recent mid-term elections in the U.S and the European elections in May, this promises to be exciting times to reflect on the progress achieved by women at the political and corporate level, and revive the debate on women empowerment.
Geneviève Pons will speak on the 3rd panel of the Women Rule Summit entitled “Better Leadership for a Better World?” on the theme “Climate change: How does the presence of women in the energy industry affect global warming?”.
Helena Dalli, Minister for European affairs and Equality of Malta, Arancha Gonzales, Executive director of the International Trade Centre (ITC) or Mechthild Wörsdörfer, Director of Sustainability, Technology and Outlooks at the International Energy Agency (IEA), will also, among others, intervene during the 2019 Women Rule Summit.
