Brussels, 31 August 2012 – Democratic control in the member states of the European Council and the euro zone summits

TEPSA and Notre Europe won the tender voiced by the Policy Department Citizens’ Rights and Constitutional Affairs at the European Parliament to elaborate a study on the Democratic Control in the Member states of the European Council and the Euro Zone Summits. The project entitled “NPEC – National Parliaments and the European Council” is led by Professor Wessels on behalf of TEPSA together with Professor Rozenberg at Notre Europe, Paris.

Yves Bertoncini, Secretary General, Renaud Dehousse,

Scientific Advisor, and Valentin Kreilinger, Research Assistant at Notre Europe

participate in the workshop “National Parliaments and the European Council” in

partnership with the Trans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA) which

will take place at the Representation of the Land of North Rhine-Westphalia in

Brussels on 31 August 2012. The project is directed by Olivier Rozenberg

(Sciences Po Paris) and Wolfgang Wessels (University of Cologne).
