La présidentielle américaine qui a vu Joe Biden finalement l’emporter face à Donald Trump, constitue une réelle occasion pour l’Union européenne d’affirmer son rôle sur la scène internationale en redéfinissant ses relations avec la première puissance mondiale. Durant cette conférence, organisée par notre Vice-Présidente, Nicole Gnesotto, avec le soutien de la Fondation Gulbenkian, nos intervenants décrypteront les conséquences de ces élections américaines hors-norme sur la relation transatlantique et pour l’Europe. Leurs discussions, diffusées en ligne depuis le Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) à Paris, s’axeront autour de 4 grandes questions :
• Quelle Amérique se dessine pour les 4 prochaines années ? • Quelle tournure prendront les relations commerciales entre le bloc européen et leur partenaire américain ? • Quels sont encore nos intérêts communs en matière de politique étrangère et de défense ? • Que peut-on espérer de la relation transatlantique dans les années à venir ?
