Thomas Pellerin-Carlin, research fellow at the Jacques Delors Institute, in charge of Europeean Energy Policies, organises a meeting at the European University Institute of Florence on the launch of a Knowledge Hub on digital and energy transition issues.
Organised in cooperation with the Florence School of Regulation, and more particularly with Jean-Michel Glachant, director fo the Florence School of Regulation, this Knwoledge Hub is based on the following statement : The European Union is entering two waves of change and innovation which will shape the world economies and societies in the 21st Century. They are the “Digital Age” and the “Energy Transition”. Facing such a situation, an independent Knowledge Hub, committed to collect data and evidence, aggregate research questions and analyses, define metrics and options, and to formulate policy alternatives and regulatory tools for Europe.
If you want more information on this meeting, you can consult the programme. We also invite you to visit the website of the Florence School of Regulation to learn more on their activities and areas of research.
