The second session of the Think Tanks Tandem initiative, organised by the Genshagen Foundation, takes place on 21-22 October 2016 near Berlin on the issues of The Common Security and Defence Policy and the Relations EU-Neighbours.

Yves Bertoncini and Thomas Pellerin-Carlin participate in the second session of the Think Tanks Tandem initiative, organised by the Genshagen Foundation. It takes place on 21-22 October 2016, with the participation of ca. 50 people coming mainly from German and French think tanks dealing with European issues and from German and French authorities.
The two roundtables are on the following issues:
1. What future for the Common Security and Defence Policy after the vote on Brexit?
2. Stability and security in the EU neighbourhood
Pierre Vimont, former executive secretary general of the European External Action Service and senior associate at Carnegie Europe – Brussels, is the keynote speaker at the dinner to deal with the EU-USA relations.
