Organised under the aegis of the Ministry of Defence, this yearly conference brings together generals and senior officers, national and international experts, elected officials and a well-informed general public. Together, they take stock of the current state of threats (including nuclear, germ warfare, cyber terrorism, and internal threats) and their likelihood in light of recent and long-term developments (political, economic, environmental, and demographic) in the global dynamic.
This year, our special guest and expert commentator is General (2S) Henri Bentégeat, former Chief of Defence Staff and president of the European Union Military Committee; he will accompany the days debates with his personal analyses and reactions.
