Paris, 19 April 2016 - Pascal Lamy, President Emeritus of the Jacques Delors Institute, discusses the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership.

Pascal Lamy, President Emeritus of the Jacques Delors Institute, participates in a seminar titled  “Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership – TTIP: Myths and Realities” on 19 April 2016. The event is organised by the French Businesses Employers Union, MEDEF, and features notably Cecilia Malmström, EU Trade Commissioner, and Matthias Fekl, the French Secretary of State for External Trade, among other experts on world commerce.
The seminar will cover such topics as the expectations and controversies of the Transatlantic Partnership, its potential for growth, and the likely progress to be made in the field of regulatory cooperation.

Pascal Lamy speaks on the latter topic along with:
Loïc Armand, President of L’Oréal France and Cosmetics Europe;
Dr Koen Berden, Director of the World Trade Institute;
Sébastien Ferrari, CEO of Serge Ferrari (tbc);
Michael Punke, Deputy United States Trade Representative and American Ambassador to the WTO in Geneva.
