Paris, 2 April 2019 – Citizen And Trade Unionist: 2 Voices to Act For Europe
The CFDT construction and wood organizes a debate meeting on the theme "Citizen and trade unionist: 2 voices to act for Europe" with:
PASCAL LAMY, former Director General of the WTO and President of the Jacques Delors Institute, MARCEL GRIGNARD President of Confrontations Europe and former Deputy Secretary General of the CFDT, WERNER BUELEN Political Secretary Construction - European Federation of Building and Wood Workers (EFBWW), SYLVAIN LEFEBVRE former Deputy Secretary General and Advisor to the President IndustriAll Europe Trade Union, LAURENT BERGER secretary general of the CFDT
The conference will be introduced by Pascal LAMY, former Director General of the World Trade Organization (2005-2013) and President Emeritus of the Jacques Delors Institute.
Marcel Grignard, former Deputy Secretary General of the CFDT (2009-2014), President of Confrontations Europe will take stock of the situation of social dialogue at European level.
The second part of the conference will detail the functioning of the European sectoral federations, in particular the European Federation of Building and Wood Workers and IndustriAll Europe, with the interventions of Werner Buelen, Construction Policy Secretary – European Federation of Construction Workers Building and Wood (EFBWW) and Sylvain Lefebvre, former Deputy Secretary General and Special Advisor to the President – IndustriAll Europe Trade Union.
It will be followed by a cocktail.
