Energy has been catapulted to the top of the political agenda. The challenges are manifold, ranging from replacing Russian energy and deploying renewables to cushioning high prices and reforming the electricity market. To illuminate these issues from a Franco-German perspective, our event brings together some of the most exciting current research with the policy world. It is hosted by the Jacques Delors Institute (Paris) and the Jacques Delors Centre (Berlin), against the backdrop of the Franco-German Ministerial Council meeting, at which energy policy will be discussed as a key topic.

• Stefan Lamp, Postdoctoral Researcher at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid
• Tim Schittekatte, Postdoctoral Associate at MIT’s Sloan School of Management
• Nicolas Astier, Professor at Paris School of Economics
