[FR] Euroquestions #37 | Presidential election in France: Is there a place for Europe in the ballot box?

Acting at the European level has proven essential in recent years, with the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine being perfect examples. Although the powers devolved to the European Commission are regularly debated, it is at the Community level that many decisions are effective, within the framework of the Union’s powers. However, the European dimension is viewed and developed in different ways by the presidential candidates, who consider it divisive and of little electoral value.

Christine Verger, Vice-President of the Jacques Delors Institute, will discuss these issues with us, as well as the EEE agency, a project to rate the European programmes of the main candidates, in which the Jacques Delors Institute is a partner.
