Brussels, 1 July 2014 – Social developments in the European Union 2013

Sofia Fernandes, senior research fellow on economic and social affairs, will be a speaker at the conference organised by the OSE and the ETUI on “Social developments in the EU 2013” with a presentation on “Building an EU Social Agenda after the Elections 2014: Implementation and Feasibility”.

Each year, the ‘Social developments in the EU’ book explores the social policy issues that featured on the European agenda during the past year. To mark the 15th edition of this flagship book, the European Social Observatory (OSE) and the European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) will hold a conference, on the 1st of July, that brings together a wide variety of key EU and domestic policymakers, social partners and NGO representatives, researchers and journalists.

Sofia Fernandes, senior research fellow on economic and social affairs at Notre Europe-Jacques Delors Institute, will be a speaker at this conference with a presentation on “Building an EU Social Agenda after the Elections 2014: Implementation and Feasibility”.
