ICC Trade and Climate Consultation: To what extent could carbon clubs be a solution?

In order to help catalyze progress towards achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement and advancing international trade, ICC recognizes that there is a need to align trade and climate change policy.

At the request of the ICC Executive Board, ICC will be organizing a series of consultations, bringing together highlevel business leaders, policy makers, academic experts, economists and thought leaders to discuss the nexus between international trade and climate change. The objective of the consultations will be to prepare an ICC issues brief reflecting on the different perspectives, and providing a range of possible solutions to effectively align and integrate trade and climate change policy with a view to achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement and advancing international trade.

Geneviève Pons, director of the Jacques Delors Institut Brussels Office, and Pierre Leturcq, Policy officer at the Jacques Delors Institut Brussels Office,  will speak for the occasion.
