Creation of the Jacques Delors Friends of Europe Foundation

20 July 2025 marks 100 years since the birth of Jacques Delors. With many events planned to commemorate this date, it is also an opportunity to officially announce the creation of the new Jacques Delors Friends of Europe Foundation.

The Foundation brings together two partners: the Jacques Delors Institutes, based in Paris, Berlin and Brussels, and Friends of Europe, based in Brussels.  For many years, these organisations’ research, publications and campaigns have been devoted to deepening European integration. The new foundation’s objective is to give this integration fresh momentum at a time when the EU is facing headwinds but also when Europeans are becoming increasingly convinced that the Union is the solution.

The details of the Foundation’s objectives and organisation will be made public on the occasion of a high level event in mid-October.
