[FR] Is France the sick man of Europe?

The European elections saw a surge in support for far-right and populist parties, particularly in the founding Member States of the European Union (with the exception of Luxembourg).
This surge was particularly strong in France, where it was confirmed in the parliamentary elections that followed the President’s decision to dissolve the National Assembly.
It goes hand in hand with a rise in Euroscepticism, which this document aims to clarify and explain, based on the results of the latest Eurobarometer surveys conducted by the European Commission and Parliament in the spring. It is in this climate that the new Prime Minister Michel Barnier and the ministerial team he has put together, after three months of government inaction, are taking office.
