This Policy Brief is based on his intervention at the conference with Frans VAN DAELE, Head of Cabinet of the President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy, Guntram WOLFF, Deputy Director Bruegel and former European Commission and Mr. Didier REYNDERS,Minister of Foreign affairs of Belgium.
The author pleads for a more encompassing form of EMU governance, which should be accompanied by a clarification of its democratic dimension.
