This synthesis summarizes the mai elements of the debate conducted during our 2015 European stearing commitee about security and defence policy stakes, and which was introduced by Michel Barnier et Nicole Gnesotto, along the three following points:

1. A range of globalised crises and conflicts on the EU’s doorstep
2. Revising the EU’s strategic software
3. How to act without delay?

After discussions, our 2015 European Steering Committee adopted a declaration: “Schengen is dead? Long live Schengen!“.
