Arnaud Leparmentier

Journalist

First auditor at KPMG (1990), then journalist at Option Finance (1992) and at the Nouvel Économiste (1993), Arnaud Leparmentier joined Le Monde in 1995. He was appointed correspondent in Germany (1997-2001) then head of the European bureau at Brussels (2001-2005). From 2005 to 2008, he is the head of the daily political department. Under the five-year term of Nicolas Sarkozy, he is in charge of monitoring the Élysée. From 2012, he is assistant director of editorial and editorial director. Since the summer of 2017, there is a newspaper correspondent in New York.
