Born in 1967, he holds degrees from the University of Athens and the University of Oxford, where he was a Rhodes scholar, and was a postdoctoral fellow at Princeton University. His research interests and publications include Greek and Southern European politics and political economy, the politics of economic and structural reform, the politics of finance, European governance and regulatory reform, and civil society. He is a member of the Greek government’s Council of Economic Advisors, and a board member of various academic and civic organizations.
