After obtaining a PhD from the European University Institute in Florence, Monica den Boer has been researcher at the University of Edinburgh and Lecturer at the European Institute for Public Administration in Maastricht. She is currently Managing Director of the European Institute of Law Enforcement Co-operation (EULEC) in Brussels. A member of the Dutch Advisory Council on International Affairs (AIV), she lectures regularly in external seminars of the Dutch School of Public Administration (NSOB), Clingendael Institute, European Institute for Public Administration (EIPA), Europa College (Bruges), en Instituut Defensieleergangen (IDL). She’s currently a professor at University of Amsterdam and a visiting professor at College of Europe in Brugges.
