Tomás García Azcárate has been a European civil
servant since 1986 and he is currently in charge of the coordination of the economic
analysis of markets at the DG AGRI. He is also a lecturer at the Institute of
European Studies at the Université libre de Bruxelles (IEE-ULB).
He holds a PhD in agricultural engineering. He studied
at the London Business School, Stanford Business School, Harvard Business
School and the Instituto San Telmo.
He is a member of the French Society of Agriculture and
of the Accademia dei Georgofili.
