Panelistes:

Pascal Lamy – Pascal is the former General Director of the World Trade Organization and served as Chief of Staff for the President of the European Commission, Jacques Delors and was also European Trade Commissioner from 1999-2004.

Philip Lowe – Sir Philip is a former Director General of the European Commission for Development Cooperation, Competition and Energy. Previously he held a number of senior posts in the Commission, including as Head of Cabinet to Neil Kinnock, the former Vice-President of the European Commission for Administrative Reform and to Bruce Millan, then European Commissioner for Regional Policy.

Andreas Mundt – Andreas is President of the Federal Cartel Office (Germany), Steering Group Chair of the International Competition Network (ICN) and a Member of the Bureau of the OECD Competition Committee. Joining the FCO in 2000 he served as Head of the International Section and then Director of General Policy from 2005.

Jorge Padilla – Jorge is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Compass Lexecon Europe. He has given expert testimony before the competition authorities and courts of several EU member states, as well as in cases before the European Commission. Jorge has submitted written testimony to the European General Court, and the UK Competition Appeals Tribunal in cartel, merger control and abuse of dominance cases.

Simon Wilson – Simon is the BBC’s Brussels Bureau Chief and runs the main Europe bureau. He has worked as a producer, reporter and presenter for TV and Radio, primarily in foreign news, and spent six years in the Middle East. Simon was the BBC’s Washington Bureau Chief running news operations in North America, South America and the Caribbean.
