Elvire Fabry, senior research fellow at the Jacques Delors Institute, intervenes in a roundtable entitled "Risks and opportunities of the transition period". This discussions takes place during the seminar "A year before Brexit", organised by the MEDEF on the 15th of March.

The United Kingdom will leave the European Union on the 29th of March, 2019. However, it won’t be a sudden stop, as a transition period will last until 2020 and will define the future and nature of the EU-UK relationship. For companies, changes stemming from Brexit might be brutal for their business relations with British partners.

A keynote speech will be given by Sandrine Gaudin, Secretary General of the French General Secretariat for European Affairs (SGAE). Elvire Fabry will intervene along with Vivien Lévy Garboua, economist at Sciences Po. Paris, Isabelle Maitre, delegate to the EU – French Transport Workers’ Federation and Arnaud Vaissié, founder of the “Cercle d’Outre-Manche” and President of International SOS.
