[FR] Euroquestions #19 | The Conference on the Future of Europe: organisation and challenges

Launched on 9 May, this conference is the most comprehensive citizen consultation process ever undertaken by the European Union. The basis of this exercise, a multilingual digital platform open to all, aims to collect all the proposals that may be put forward in order to shape the Europe of tomorrow. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and then serious institutional deadlocks, this Conference was launched a year late and in the form of a particularly complex institutional structure.
Will it succeed in meeting the expectations for progress that are so necessary after 15 years punctuated by crises? Or should we fear that differences between countries will undermine this hope?
To address these questions, we are delighted to welcome Christine Verger, Vice-President of the Jacques Delors Institute.
