03:00 pm [FR] Euroquestions #7 | What action is Europe taking to help the homeless? What are Europe’s responses to extreme poverty?

In the 2010s, the EU 2020 strategy set a numerical target for reducing the number of people living in poverty (by 20 million). It is now time to take stock and reflect on future prospects.
In times of major health and economic crisis, the need to review these indicators and intervention tools is even more pressing.
We will welcome Julien Damon, associate researcher at the Jacques Delors Institute, who will present two proposals. First, in favour of focusing efforts on extreme poverty and homelessness. Second, for a fully European approach to poverty assessment, with a calculation threshold established at the EU level.
