Jacques Delors Conference 2025: Strengthening the Single Market

The Jacques Delors Conference is the flagship annual event of the Notre Europe Academy. It has two objectives. Firstly, to open up a space for dialogue between European figures and young people so that the latter can express their expectations regarding the European project. On the other hand, it aims to give young people a better understanding of the European Union and its policies. This conference, which is open to all young people aged 16 to 30, is also the closing session of the Academy’s free annual training course on European citizenship. The 2025 edition of the Jacques Delors Conference marks the 100th anniversary of Jacques Delors’ birth. The theme of the day, which will take place at the Banque de France, is “Strengthening the Single Market for a sustainable and prosperous future for citizens”. The event will be structured around three parts:

  • Debates with European personalities aimed at creating a dialogue on the future of Europe. Our speakers will discuss with young people their expectations of the European project and the actions being taken by the European institutions to meet these challenges.
  • Educational stands and workshops will be run by European associations and organisations to highlight Jacques Delors’ European action and its impact on the daily lives of citizens.
  • A tribute to Jacques Delors, on the centenary of his birth, with a play performed by young people from the Academy.

The event will take place in French.*
