Safeguarding the European Carbon Market (EU ETS)

With support from Founders Pledge, the Energy Centre is part of a coordinated initiative bringing together several European think tanks (E3G, Bellona, Epico, and CISL) to defend and strengthen the European carbon market (EU ETS), a central pillar of EU climate policy in a context of heightened geopolitical and economic pressures.The project aims to produce analysis and inform public debate to safeguard the integrity of the carbon price signal, essential for steering investment toward decarbonizing hard-to-electrify sectors and scaling emerging clean technologies.
