Should there be another Brexit-referendum? Risks and opportunities
In this paper published by the Jacques Delors Institute- Berlin, the guest author Sandra Kröger zooms into the debate around a second referendum on British membership in the EU. It shows pros and cons of such a referendum and then moves on to discuss a central legal issue of a potential second referendum: the referendum question. Concluding, the paper discusses what a second referendum will not achieve and what it might achieve.
The author, Dr. Sandra Kröger is Senior Lecturer in the politics department of the University of Exeter. This year, she also is a Robert Schuman Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence.
