In occasion of the 18th Economic Forum of Krynica, dubbed the “Davos” of central and eastern europe, taking place on the 10th of september 2008, Elvire
Fabry presented the TGAE report in the presence of Mikolaj
Dowgielewicz, the Polish State Secretary for European Affairs.

The report also served as the basis for discussion of the Forum of European Think Tanks, organised at the OECD by the Aspen Institute France, Notre Europe and the Fondation pour l’Innovation Politique on the 19-20 September 2008. The forum which focused on the “What European policy outlines for 2020?”, assemblesd around one hundred participants (think tank representatives, economic and political policy-makers, the media, etc.), in order to engage in a discussion amongst european affairs experts and policy-makers (elected senior officials both national and european) in charge of the definition and the application of communitarian policies.
