Francesco Marchi obtained a degree in Political Science at the University of Catania (Italy). He is a PhD in Political Sociology and Public Policies at the Institute of Political Studies of Paris. He worked as a research assistant at Jacques Delors Institute. His research focuses on the behavior of governments in the European Convention. His resaerch areas are institutional reforms of the European Union, the decision-making procesess and new practices of deliberative and participatory democracy.
