Franciszek Draus

Although he is Polish, his academic background is French. He worked toward his doctoral degree within Raymond Aron’s circle at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences sociales in Paris. In the 1980s, he gave lectures in Germany and France on political sociology and the history of political liberalism. He has been conducting research on European integration and the political institutions in central and eastern European countries for a number of years.
