Nicole Gnesotto

Nicole Gnesotto is a professor emeritus at CNAM and Vice-President of the Jacques Delors Institute. She is a renowned expert on European and security issues. Former Deputy Head of the Center for Analysis and Forecasting at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1987–1990), she directed the European Union Institute for Security Studies (EU-ISS) until 2007.

Appointed to the European Union Chair at CNAM in 2008, she was also the first female president of IHEDN and a member of the Defense White Paper Commission (2013). A columnist for Le Nouvel Esprit public, she is the author of Europe, changer ou périr (Tallandier, 2022), with a preface by Jacques Delors.
