Pierre Jaillet is an economist, advisor at the Jacques Delors Institute – Notre Europe, associate research fellow at the Institute for International and Strategic Relations – IRIS- and professor at IRIS Sup’. A former Director General for Economics & International Affairs at the Banque de France, he also served as Special Advisor to the Governor and Chief Representative for the Americas in New York, after holding positions at INSEE, the European Commission, and the International Monetary Fund.
Graduate of Sciences Po, he holds masters in economics and sociology. He has taught at ENA, ESCP-Europe, and ENSAE. He is the author and editor of numerous publications on monetary, economic, and international issues; a member of the Political Economy Society, the French Economic Science Association, and the Editorial Committee of the Revue d’économie financière; he is a Knight of the Legion of Honors.
