Pierre Jaillet is an economist, associate researcher at the Institute of International and Strategic Relations (IRIS), lecturer at IRIS sup. He is a former Director General of Economics and International Affairs at the Banque de France, in charge of economic studies and relations with European and international bodies (IMF, BIS, G7&G20, development banks). He was the BdF’s chief representative for the Americas, special advisor to the Governor, and served at INSEE, the European Commission and the IMF. He has taught at ENA, ESCP-Europe and ENSAE. He is the author and editor of numerous publications on monetary, economic and international issues.
