Eulalia Rubio, senior Research fellow, in charge of Economic affairs and of the European budget, intervenes for a conference on the new Commission's proposal for the Multi-Annual Financial Framework (MFF), organised by the Greens/European Free Alliance in the European Parliament.

The focus of this conference is to debate the future of the European Cohesion Policy while the European Commission just unveiled its budgetary proposal for the new Multi-Annual Financial Framework (MFF) 2021-2027. Throughout the day, members of the Greens/EFA discuss with experts and representatives of the civil society on legislative proposals for the post-2020 Cohesion policy, the territorial effects of the new MFF and the priorities for the EU regions in the post-2020 Cohesion policy. Eulalia Rubio shareq her views, along with Eleni Marianou, Secretary General of the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR) and Markus Trilling, from the Climate Action Network, on the new legislative proposals and their foreseeable impacts on the Cohesion policy.
