[FR] Euroquestions #30 | EU-Russia: The First Cardinal Point of the European Strategic Compass?

Last March, we welcomed Cyrille Bret, lecturer at Sciences Po Paris and Associate Researcher at the Jacques Delors Institute, to analyze the European Union’s sanctions policy toward Russia. In that edition of Euroquestions, he called for a broader and more diversified strategy in response to an increasingly threatening Russia in its neighborhood.
As we enter 2022, with growing concerns about developments in Ukraine, renewed focus on migratory pressure at the Polish-Belarusian border in recent months, and the gas crisis revealing the full range of Russia’s destabilizing tools, Cyrille Bret will examine the current state of EU-Russia relations for us. This comes at a time when the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union is beginning and has made the pursuit of a European Strategic Compass one of its key priorities.
