Arianna Lombari joined EJD’s team in November 2022 as a Junior Policy Analyst. Her research interests are greening of the agri-food ecosystem, food security and sustainable development. Arianna supports the work of Sophia Hub on the “GRAPE” (Greening agri-food policy in Europe) project. Prior to joining Europe Jacques Delors, Arianna worked as a trainee in DG GROW, contributing to the European Commission work on retail and agri-food and as Research Associate at Edelman Global Advisory.
She has also worked as a technical researcher for Relief International, supporting the work of the Global Food Security Cluster COVID-19 TWD on agri-food supply chain disruptions in historically food-insecure countries.
She graduated in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at LUISS Guido Carli, holds a MA in research from the University of Chicago, and a MA in Human Development and Food Security from Roma Tre University.
Arianna is fluent in Italian, English and French.
