Leon Leuser is a Research Fellow for Energy Sufficiency at the Jacques Delors Energy Center.
Before joining JDI, he worked as a climate protection manager in the city administration of Kehl and as a project manager for environmental and sustainability policy at adelphi. Before that, he worked as a research assistant at the European University of Flensburg and as a research assistant at ifeu Heidelberg. His work focuses on policy advice and research on the sustainability strategies of energy sufficiency and efficiency, as well as sustainable urban development. He studied “Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy” in a master’s degree at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and in “Energy and Environmental Technology” in a bachelor’s degree at the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg.
