Luc Soete is Director of the United Nations University research and training institute: UNU-MERIT (Maastricht, The Netherlands), Professor of Internal Economic Relations and Director-Dean of the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance (MGSoG) at Maastricht University.
He is a member of the Advisory Council for Science and Technology Policy (AWT) and the Royal Dutch Academy of Science (KNAW).
