Sophia Hub joined Europe Jacques Delors in January 2021 as a policy analyst. Her research primarily focuses on the greening of agriculture and the agriculture-climate-trade nexus. Before joining Europe Jacques Delors, she worked as a trainee at DG CLIMA at the European Commission, contributing to the Commission’s work on regulating CO2 maritime transport emissions.
With an interdisciplinary Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Technische Universität Dresden, Sophia went on to specialise in International Law during her LLM programme at the University of Edinburgh where she focused on Environmental, Economic, and Climate Change Law. Sophia has gained work experience in the context of European and international cooperation as an intern at the German Embassy in Tallinn and as a project assistant at the 2020 Munich Security Conference.
