PARTNERSHIP

PARTENAIRES

On 22 January, Germany and France will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Elysée Treaty, which sealed a profound cooperation between the two countries. Although the Franco-German tandem is often the driving force behind European integration, the relationship has experienced complications in the autumn against a backdrop of profound differences: German investment plan for its economy, priorities in the energy transition, European defence or reform of the stability and growth pact. How can the Franco-German dynamic be relaunched to face the European challenges of 2023?

We are pleased to welcome Yann Wernert, Policy Fellow at the Centre Jacques Delors in Berlin, where he is part of the team organising the Franco-German Dialogue, for this first Euroquestions of 2023.
