German Election: Last Vote to Make Europe
After the legislative election on 24 September in Germany, the European political horizon will be clearer to undertake major initiatives, if the future coalition allows it.

German legislative elections are quietly coming. For the French presidential election, voters had to choose their destiny ; on the contrary, apart from a last minute surprise, it seems that Angela Merkel already won the German election. According to the last Eurobarometer, the German public opinion is mostly in favor of Europe. But Europe has not been at the core of the campaign.
How can France and Germany relaunch Europe after these elections?
In this tribune, Sébastien Maillard, director of the Jacques Delors Institute, shows us that after the legislative election on 24 September in Germany, the European political horizon will be clearer to undertake major initiatives, if the future coalition allows it.
This tribune is available in French and in German.
